Rules & Guidelines

  1. Only the provided challenges are in scope. The scoring platform, servers, and backend systems are strictly out of scope.
  2. Targets in scope are chall.technet.sgctf.lol and *.chall.technet.sgctf.lol. When in doubt, please ask.
  3. Do not attack or interfere with the platform, organisers, or other players.
  4. Do not share or delete flags, or damage challenge environments.
  5. Do not brute force, spam, or use high-traffic automated tools on the platform.
  6. Challenges in this CTF will use dynamic scoring. As more players solve challenges, the points-value for that challenge will reduce.
  7. Play fairly and respect the spirit of the competition.
  8. The organisers’ decisions are final and rules may be updated if required.
  9. Unless specified in the challenge description, the flag format will follow SG{[A-Za-z0-9_-!]+}
  10. For OSINT challenges do not attack, scan, or disrupt any external sites or services. Use passive information gathering only.
  11. Unless specified in the challenge description, all passwords that require cracking will be found in rockyou.txt.tar.gz.

  13. You must have aleast one member of your team present at the end of the CTF to claim a prize, if no member is available that prize will go to the next scoring team.
  14. Have fun! This CTF is a safe way for you to learn and attempt different hacking challenges.
